Stepping into Glenwood Smokehouse, I dove straight into their “Most Ordered” combos—starting with the Meat & Side Platters. The juicy 1/3 lb Fatty Brisket Plate delivered first‑rate tenderness, with that beautiful bark juxtaposed against an indulgent fat cap that meltingly enriched every bite, paired with velvety Truffle Mashed Potatoes whose earthy aroma complemented the meat impeccably. Equally scrumptious was the 1/2 lb Brisket, robust in portion and smoked to a perfect rosy hue.
Among the Plates, the Tri‑Tip Plate stood out: lean yet luscious, serving up full beefy flavor. I also savored the Rib Tips Plate—little morsels of crisped edges with succulent meat inside, best enjoyed with greens to balance the richness. The Hot Link Plate brought a tangy, spiced punch—ideal for those craving a bit of heat. For a classic combo, “Meat n Three” gave me flexibility to sample brisket, tri‑tip, and pulled pork, each with a distinctive smoky note.
Kicking off with starters, the Loaded Baked Potato with Brisket was a revelation: tender potato, creamy cheese, crisp bacon, crowned by smoky brisket—it’s a starter that practically doubles as a meal. From the By the Pound section, the 1 lb Brisket and 1 lb Pulled Pork options are generous and ideal for sharing; the Half Rack of Spare Ribs was succulent with just the right smoky char.
